§ 42-69. Written report of accident.

  • The driver of a vehicle which is in any manner involved in an accident resulting in bodily injury to or death of any person or total damage to all property to an apparent extent of $500.00 or more shall, within ten days after such accident, forward to the police department a written report of such accident or a copy of any report filed with the state department of public safety. The provisions of this section shall not be applicable when the accident has been investigated at the scene by a police officer while such driver was present thereat.
